About our Club
We are a small, relatively new group.  Our members, male and female, come from the City of Oxford and its outlying villages.  We meet twice a month to plan our activities, sometimes we have guest speakers and occasionally hold social events.

Fund Raising
Our main fundraising event is The Lord Mayor's Parade and Gala, held on the second Bank holiday in May. At Easter we raffle large chocolate eggs in local pubs and clubs.  During the festive season, we take our sleigh out-and-about and run Santa's Grotto in Templers Square, on the four Sundays running up to Christmas.
As the Club grows, we hope to organise other events.

Welfare Projects
We have undertaken a number of Welfare projects. These include:

Decorating the lounge in a residential home for the elderly
organising an evening of entertainment, including supper, for one  hundred senior citizens
 
D istributing Fox Boxes, Food Hampers to the old and lonely each Christmas

Supplying fire extinguishers for a family centre

Collecting unwanted spectacles to go to the Third World

Purchasing TACADE material for a local School

Plus making financial donations to local groups, charities and individuals
